Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp is a Canadian actress known for her lead roles in numerous television series and also for her powerful performance in films. The actress is popular on Canadian as well as American television. When Emily was twelve, she started to get fascinated by acting after she visited her elder sister Katie on the set of one of her films. As soon as she began to realize that acting was her interest, she started to take acting lessons and auditions. The first time she auditioned was with couple of ads, and was soon included in the show Are You Are You Afraid of The Dark, a Canadian horror film for children. One scene in which she was seen without saying a word. In the year 15 she got her big break when she became part of the WB program Glory Days. Emily's acting skills caught the attention of Dawson's Creek's Greg Berlanti, who then made her a part of his television show Everwood. Emily can also be a professional dancer, a photographer and was listed as one of Teen's top 20 actors. Maxim listed her at 51 on their Hot 100 of 2014.
